Overpricing Your Home - It's a great market right now, but overpricing your home can still be a big mistake. Make sure it's priced appropriately.
Not Negotiating - Even if you feel you have the best possible deal on your home, always be willing to negotiate. This can make or break your sale.
Not Cleaning - Having a messy, cluttered or dirty home will take away from it's appeal and keep your house from selling.
Bad Photos - The internet is the way most homes are viewed first. Having bad photos may keep customers scrolling on past your home instead of wanting to see it.
Not Leaving the House - Staying in your home during a showing can leave others feeling awkward and unable to truly discuss your home. If at all possible, don't be there.
Difficult Showings - Once your home is on the market, in order to sell it, it must be shown. It can be inconvenient at times, but, the more people can see your home, the more chances your home will be sold.
Leaving Pets at Home - If at all possible, take your pets with you when you leave for a showing. If you can't, make sure they are in a cage or at least let whoever is coming over to know about your pet. Some people may have allergies or a pet might be frightening to some.
