Need to Sell to Buy? – Depends on your specific situation.  Talk to your lender and then figure out what is best for you.

How Many Homes Should I View? –  Statistically people look at about 10 -12 homes.  But, you are the one to decide how many you want to look at. In a limited inventory, it might be considerably less that fit your exact specifications.

What is Earnest Money? – Most seller’s require some sort of “good faith” deposit.  It is applied to the purchase of your house.

How Long Can a Seller Take to Respond to the Offer? – However long they want to, however, a deadline is in place to protect the buyer so they aren’t obligated if the seller responds after the deadline.

What Do I Do If My Offer is Rejected? – It depends on the circumstances.  If you were part of multiple offers, you can ask to be a back up if the accepted offer falls through,  if your offer was the only one, you can see if the seller wants to negotiate or at that point you can walk away entirely and find another property.

Should I Have a Home Inspection? – YES! It’s a good idea to have someone you can trust to see if there are any other things that you may need to have done before you buy the home.

Do I Need to do a Final Walk-through? – Yes, it’s recommended, but not required.  It’s good to see if the home is the way it’s supposed to be, before the closing.
