It's fun to save money! One way a lot of people save is to shop at dollar stores. However, sometimes you could be saving even more not only there, but somewhere else!
Buyer Beware! - Always check the expiration date on the items you are purchasing, and also read the list of ingredients. Just because something LOOKS like a big brand, doesn't mean it's as healthy or contains the same ingredients. The top ingredients in the list is what an item generally contains the most of, so be careful.
Try Store Brands - It's always good to try store brands from time to time in any store. Sometimes the ingredients are exactly the same and so is the quality, but, the store brand may be a lot cheaper than a big brand. Never hurts to try.
Do Your Math - Sometimes the size of a product is different and therefore it is a dollar. If you did the math of how much per ounce a certain product is at the dollar store next to a regular price and price per ounce at another store, you may find that the cost per ounce is MORE at the dollar store so you are actually spending more money for less of a product, so it's always good to do the math!
Use Your Coupons - A lot of dollar stores have coupons on their websites, so be sure and check those out to save extra money, too.
