Everyday Activities - Drink your coffee outside in the sunshine in the morning or when you have your work break, try to spend it outside for a bit. Maybe you are working from home and can take your laptop or phone call outside. Think about what everyday activity you can move to the outdoors!
Special Activities - Do some fun activities outside if you have a chance. Got to an outdoor concert or have a family dinner outside. Plan your next vacation around outdoor activities and your next party in the back yard. What different ways can you make a special time a time with nature?
Play in the Dirt - People who get their hands in dirt are generally happier and healthier research shows, so plant an herb or vegetable garden to enhance meals and your mind!
Take a Project Outside - Take a project you are working on and work on it outside. Write your thank you notes, work on a hobby or get those items you wanted to spray paint for a while done.
Bottom line is, if you can alter your lifestyle to have at least short spurts outdoor breaks everyday, your body, mind and mood will work so much better for you in the long run!
