Real Estate is Competitive - It can be ugly sometimes, but, generally it's a good community of Realtors that work together to help their clients achieve their goals.
Your Schedule Isn't Always Flexible - This is true. You have to be willing to adjust your schedule to clients' schedules, be ready on a moments notice and be willing to work sometimes when it's inconvenient.
No Free Leads (potential buyers and sellers) - When a company offers you "free leads" generally there is a fee that it takes to get those leads.
You'll Make Lots of Calls (with No Scripts) - This is true. Dialog training and working on possible scenarios to help you be able to communicate well with clients is good, but, having canned answers and speeches won't help you make that personal connection with someone.
Get Used to Rejection - All sorts of people may decide not to work with you for one reason or another. Don't get caught up into that and just move on. It's not always personal at all, sometimes it's just how things go. But it's not easy. It can be tough to deal with sometimes.
Rules & Regulations Always Change -This is true. There is new technology all the time, new laws that go into effect and new practices your Association may decide to go with. That is why agents are required in Indiana 12 hours a year for continued education. That way we can keep up with all the changes that come along.
